Dialogue is produced primarily by the centre channel speaker in a surround sound system. If voices are hard to hear, raising the volume of the centre channel may help.
Adjusting centre channel speaker level

To adjust the centre speaker level, follow these steps:
Turn the TV on and select the TV video input that connects to the Lifestyle® system
on the remote, press more
MORE
press the right arrow to highlight the "options" icon, and then press ok
Right arrow
OK
press the up arrow or down arrow to highlight "centre speaker"
Up arrow
Down arrow
press the left arrow or right arrow to adjust the volume level of the centre speaker from –8 to +8
Left arrow
press exit to leave the menu
Exit
