You can choose to have the display show the time in 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour time.
To change the time format, follow these steps:

On the remote, press and hold Alarm setup/Menu until "-SETUP MENU-" is displayed

Press Tune/MP3 > four times until "-TIME-" is displayed

Press time – or time + to select "12 HOUR" or "24 HOUR"
Time –
Time +
Press Alarm setup/Menu to exit the setup menu, or wait 10 seconds for the setup menu to exit automatically
