Connecting to a different Wi-Fi® network

If the network name or password has changed, or if you want to connect your system to another network:

On the speaker, simultaneously press and hold the Volume down and Play/Pause buttons for six seconds. When the upper and lower portions of the light ring glow amber, the speaker is broadcasting its own Wi-Fi network for setup

Go to your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings screen and connect to the network named “Bose Portable Home Speaker”, or the name given to the speaker during its initial setup

Open the Bose Music app and follow the instructions to connect the speaker to your network. If the app does not prompt you to set up the speaker, tap the My Bose icon in the top-left corner, then tap the + to add a product

Note: If your mobile device asks you about staying connected to a network with no Internet access, select Yes. Selecting No would prevent the app from connecting to the speaker.
