Heart rate monitor setup - Endomondo (iOS)

To setup the heart rate sensor in Endomondo on iOS, follow these steps:

Make sure the SoundSport® Pulse headphones are powered on and connected to your iPhone. To verify, there should be a small vertical battery icon next to the Bluetooth® icon in the status bar at the top of the screen

You can also navigate to the Bluetooth® page in your phone’s settings menu to confirm that Bose® Soundsport® Pulse is under MY DEVICES with the word “connected” next to it.

Insert the SoundSport® Pulse headphones in your ears. The heart rate sensor is located in the left earbud, so make sure the left earbud is securely in place

Open the Endomondo app

Log in to the app or create an account

Tap the menu icon ≡ in the upper left-hand corner of the screen

Scroll down through the menu items, then, tap “Settings”

On the Settings screen, tap “Heart Rate”

Tap “Connect belt”

Select “Bluetooth® Low Energy”

Select “Enable Bluetooth® Low Energy”

Endomondo will automatically search for the SoundSport® Pulse's heart rate sensor. When the “Pair?” screen pops up, tap “Pair”. When the “Pairing Successful” screen appears, tap “Ok”

To see your live heart rate, you will need to add the heart rate data display to your dashboard. Return to your dashboard by tapping the back arrow in the upper, left-hand corner of the screen to return to Settings. Then tap the menu icon in the upper, left-hand corner to return to the main menu

In the main menu, scroll up and tap “Workout”

To add heart rate to your dashboard, replace one of the preset data displays (Avg. Pace, Calories, Sport, Workout etc.) by tapping on it, and then selecting "Heart Rate"

Now that the heart rate data display is part of the dashboard, you can view your heart rate
