Assigning the optical digital audio input

The optical input on your Bose system can be linked to a certain source (i.e. CBL/SAT or AUX) so that pressing the corresponding source button on your remote plays the expected audio. This is useful for connecting digital audio from a device with a digital optical audio output.

To assign the optical audio input:

  1. On the remote control, press the System button
  2. Scroll down to SET OPTICAL INPUT
  3. Scroll left or right to select the button on your remote that will choose optical audio (AutoTV, CBL SAT, BD DVD, GAME or AUX)
  4. Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.
