Adding a system to your Bose SoundTouch account

If you already created a Bose SoundTouch account, you can add additional SoundTouch systems to your account. This lets you to play music on multiple systems, group systems and add speakers throughout your home.

To add a system to your SoundTouch account using the computer app and USB cable:

  1. In the SoundTouch app menu, tap Settings
  2. Tap Add or Reconnect Speaker

  3. Tap WI-FI

  4. When prompted, connect a USB cable between the computer and your system

  5. Tap CONTINUE and wait for the system to be detected

  6. Select your network and enter the network password, then tap CONNECT
    Tip: If your network doesn't appear, tap Refresh to re-scan for networks

  7. Once connected, disconnect the USB cable
    Tip :The Wi-Fi light on your system blinks white while connecting, then glows solid white when connected
  8. Enter a name for your system (or leave the name unchanged), then tap CONTINUE

  9. When prompted, tap YES to add another system or tap NO to finish.

To add a system to your SoundTouch account:

  1. In the SoundTouch app menu, tap Settings
    Tip: To open the app menu, tap the menu icon  in the upper-left

  2. Tap Settings > Add or Reconnect Speaker

  3. Tap Wi-Fi, then wait while the app searches for available networks

  4. Go to the Wi-Fi settings of your device and connect to the Bose SoundTouch network:
    1. For Android devices, the network should automatically connect
    2. For Apple devices, the app instructs you to go to the device Wi-Fi settings and select the Bose network
    3. If the Bose network is not available in the device Wi-Fi settings, tap I DO NOT SEE THIS NETWORK for help putting your system in setup mode, then go to the device Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Bose network

  5. Select your network and enter the network password, then tap CONNECT
    Tip: If your network doesn't appear, tap Refresh to re-scan for networks

  6. Enter a name for your system (or leave the name unchanged), then tap CONTINUE

  7. When prompted, tap YES to add another system or tap NO to finish.
