Setting up your product

Learn how to set up your product, connect components and enjoy the benefits of all its features.

Setting up your bass module:

Note: The USB port on your system is only used for system updates.

Connecting a L1 Pro32 system

  1. Connect a SubMatch cable from the L1 Pro system power stand to the SUBMATCH IN port on your bass module. This provides both power and audio to your bass module
  2. Set the LINE IN EQ to L1

Connecting all other systems

  1. Connect a power cord from the POWER jack on your bass module to a working power outlet
  2. Connect the 1/4" (6.4mm) or XLR output of your mixer or audio source to the LINE IN 1 jack. Or, for stereo outputs, connect to both the LINE IN 1 and LINE IN 2 jacks
  3. Set the LINE IN EQ to LPF

Connecting additional speakers

The SUBMATCH THRU or LINE OUT jacks can be used to connect additional speakers. A PHASE/PATTERN control is also available for these setups. For more into, see Connecting additional speakers to your live sound system.

Setting the Level control

Rotate the LEVEL control knob to turn up (clockwise) or down (counterclockwise) the volume. When adjusting level, the signal indicator below the knob indicates if the signal is too loud or quiet: Green means signal is present; red means signal is clipping; off means no or low signa isl present.
