Resetting your product
A reset can reboot your product or it can clear locally-stored product settings, such as paired device lists. Find out which option is available to reset your product.
Reset your SoundDock Portable system by following these steps:
If powered by AC outlet:
- Remove the iPod from the dock
 - Disconnect the SoundDock power supply from the power outlet
 - Disconnect the AC clip from the power supply
 - Disconnect the power cord from the back of the system
 - Remove the battery pack
 - Wait 30 seconds
 - Reattach the AC clip to the power supply
 - Reconnect the power cord to the SoundDock system
 - Reconnect the power supply to a working power outlet
 - Reattach the battery pack (optional)
 - Retest the system
 
- Remove the iPod from the dock
 - Remove the battery pack
 - Wait 30 seconds
 - Reattach the battery pack
 - Retest the system
