Voice Assistant Not Working

You may need to adjust your settings on your product or supporting App in order to use the voice assistant features controlled by your mobile device. See instructions below:

Controlling Microsoft Teams and Voice Assistant

Microsoft Teams button functions

  • Press the Microsoft Teams button to bring the Teams application into focus on a Windows PC or to open the Microsoft Teams app on a Mac
  • Press the Microsoft Teams button whenever you receive a Microsoft Teams notification, and you’ll be brought to the appropriate section of the app
These features only work when connected to the Bose USB Link. When disconnected, the button does not have any functionality. However, this can be changed in the Bose Music app settings.

Activating and Controlling Voice Assistant

  1. Make sure you’re connected to the Bose USB link, and then open the Bose Music app.
  2. Select your headphones from the "My Bose" page
  3. Tap "Settings" (the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner)
  4. Scroll down to “Accessories” and select “Bose USB Link”
  5. Select “Control Teams and Voice Assistant”
Now whenever you’re connected to the Bose USB Link, this button will serve as a Teams button, and whenever you’re disconnected, you can press it to summon your mobile device’s voice assistant.

Clear your product's memory of previously paired Bluetooth® devices, then reconnect.

Determine if the issue occurs with another Bluetooth® device.

The source device currently paired to your product may be causing the issue. Try pairing a different Bluetooth source to see if the issue is isolated to that device.
