Wireless transmitter battery will not charge

If your wireless transmitter is not charging, try these steps:

Fully charge the transmitter and power on again

Using the charging ports

  • Fully insert the wireless transmitter into the wireless transmitter charging port for either Channel 1 or 2 until you hear or feel a click.
  • If the system is powered on, a battery icon with a lightning bolt will appear briefly next to the channel display to indicate the transmitter battery is charging. A lightning bolt icon then appears in the upper-right corner of the display.
  • When the transmitter is fully charged, the lightning bolt icon disappears.
NOTE: If the system is connected to power, the AC (mains) power connection charges the transmitter. If the system is operating on battery power, the system battery charges the transmitter, unless the system battery charge is less than 35%.

Using a wall charger or computer

Use this product only with an agency-approved LPS power supply that meets local regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
  1. Connect one end of a USB-C cable (not provided) to the USB-C port on the top of the wireless transmitter.
  2. Connect the other end to a USB-A wall charger or computer. The power light glows solid white. When the transmitter is fully charged, the power light turns off.
Allow up to 2 hours to fully charge the wireless transmitter battery. With typical usage, the battery lasts up to 5 hours.

Connect your product to a power outlet to exit battery protection mode.

The system battery may be in protection mode or discharged. Connect the system to AC (mains) power.

If your product has been in extreme hot or cold temperature, wait until it reaches room temperature.

If the battery temperature is beyond the operating temperature range, wait until the product reaches room temperature, then try again.

Remove the battery to cool and then try again

The battery can shut down if temperatures reach beyond the normal operating range. This can happen with still air in direct sunlight with temperatures around 40C or 104F.

Disconnect the system from power, then remove the system battery. Once the battery is cool to the touch, replace the battery and try charging again.

Reboot the system.

Unplug the power cord and remove the system battery. Wait 30 seconds, then replace the battery and firmly plug the power cord back into the AC (mains) outlet.

Try turning the volume down if you’re using the system at a very high volume level

The system pauses charging the battery and any connected wireless transmitters at very high volume levels.
