Short battery life

If the battery charge level drains at a faster rate than expected, try the following:

Check for and install any available product updates.

On a computer, visit btu.bose.com and follow the instructions to ensure your product has the latest features and enhancements. See Updating the software or firmware of your product.

Low battery indicators do not indicate a fully drained battery.

The low battery LED will engage when there are 10 minutes of active call time remaining. This indicator is to alert the user that it would be advisable to charge the headset soon, however the headset can continue to be used once the battery is depleted for audio only (no noise cancelling).

Check if the battery is charged.

Check if the battery is providing expecting operating time.

When fully charged, the battery typically provides about 10 hours of use. Battery power is consumed faster at higher volume levels or when used in noisier environments. The typical life span of the battery is about 500 charge cycles.

Be sure to power off the product when it's not in use.

To conserve battery power, be sure the power switch is in the Off position when the product is not in use.

Reset your product.

Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more info, see Resetting your product.
